The restoration of the handlebar of a Solex is very similar to that of the wheels. The main point remaining chrome plating and adding to this the plastic handles and braking mechanisms.
The bearing cages for the rotation of the handlebar are easily removable by patting them around with a wedge through the inside of the frame. They are chromed with the pedal, the handlebar, the sonette and rims.
